Amzn Return "picked up" by UPS #1
Hi all,

On another thread i talked about my SEing last try and problems with a refund...
Today, i had the surprise to discover than... My return "has been picked up by UPS". .. 2 days ago.  Obviously i didn't send nothing. The picking up order could been made by a stupid amzn operator...

Now the status is: "Recovered and in process s of returning"
is-it  a good thing?  What should be my next move?

All my SEIng was about the Faulty Item Method and complaining to operators than i couldn't send back a leakig battery...

What do you think about that?

Is there a tracking number associated with It?

Nop. where normally there is the "return sticker" you have a long message about the process for picking up stuff at home.

Last time, when the operator has "accepted my demand for return" (never asked for it) i didnt have any tracking number but (the day after) i had a call, it was the UPS guy waiting for me, in front of my adress, waiting for pickup the product to return to amazon...

This time: nothing.
No Call, notification, nothing. but new statut on Amazon

Understood.

Keep an eye on It and let us know whether Its status changes. If It does, It will determine the next course of action (If any) on your part.

If the process Is to complete, It may take a little longer, so wait a few days or so.

Thanks for your answer @mothered

just to be sure:
You would say than normally, this process takes more than 4 days to UPS for a return to Amzn? that's why i must wait for more days ?

Reminder: Process wiIl never be completed naturally, cause i have sent nothing and ups didn't come

It can be a lot sooner but at times returns are Inevitably delayed, which Is why I'm suggesting to wait a few more days.

Yes I understand that.

I'm very Interested to see why they've marked It as a return.

So quick update Smile

I have called Amzn  (less traces) . After a 1st operatorn, who can't answer and let me wait for 10minutes  after a quick 5min talk,  she hanghs up.

I call back and have a talk with a guy, so i explain the situation, he ask me few questions (why send the product back, when UPS guy came, ... etc...) and let me wait many times...

Everytime he asked for details,  I just  ansxered  "Like it is written on the tracker, on the product return page, it has been picked-up the.... "
Never give details about a supposed tracking number,  about ups... Nothing  >>> "It's written picked-up and in transit I'm just a little bit stress than WHY  it stills not arrived after near a week"

So i wait, wait and the guy comes back (alleluia) and told me:  it has not been treated yet.... it will take 5 to 7 days abnd you will have updates.  I'm like ok but it takes really long time to come right?

And the guy answer:  "SIR we have receive your package, it has juste not been treated yet.  That's why i told you to wxait a little bit more... I will confirm the reception by mail don't worry"  Confused

At this time I'm Like ... WTF?! AND he sent me the email...
BUT  Sometimes they said just "Hello" or "Hello Sir", but this time he wrote: "Hello Mr XXXX XXXX"  and it was the name of another guy.

So idk WHY, idk HOW, but I think one operator ascend me a return ticket of another guy for the same product (it was mentioned).
It was not normally for me.... Yawn

What should be my next moove (after waiting more days obvisously) ? Notamused
