Will a signature or an OTP (One-Time Password) be required on delivery?

If not and the driver leaves the package unattended at your doorstep, then you're good to go with the DNA, regardless of the camera footage.

You can return It based on the method used.

For Instance, In terms of the DNA, you'd simply say your wife accepted the package without your knowledge.

An Investigation and police report Is part of their protocol to move forward with the claim and nothing more, so there's no cause for concern.

Again regarding the DNA, on the rare occasion, drivers visit your home or call your cell phone asking why you've claimed the package didn't arrive. But you're under absolutely no obligation to answer to him.

Is it still possible if he leaves package in the apartment?

There's too much detail to cover over a single post.

Checkout the article on my blog.

I assume It's too heavy for the missing Item method.

You can use the wrong Item received, and depending on the packaging/box, the sealed box method.

CARRIER INSPECTING PACKAGES is this the article ? if it is, i cant find these questions answers so i want to ask;
Do i need to go to police station? like why they need a police report ?
is it gonna be a stolen item case ? if so, is this have something to do with me or between police, carrier and amazon ?

thanks for your concern btw

Yes you will have to go to a police station to get a document. But this is only if Amazon ask for it, and they probably will since its a £900 item.

Will the courier get in trouble? If the package is signed for then maybe yes he will.

The police report is between the police, carrier and amazon. Amazon simply wants a document to show you're a legitimate buyer with a legitimate problem. (Most criminals would be too scared to go to their police station). That being said since you live in one of those "poor countries" I would hide that item if I were you until you get your refund. "Just in case" the police want to raid your home lol.

That being said in my opinion you should do the Wrong Item Received method and return a similar weighted item that Amazon sells. And you should also make the label an FTID.

Edit: BTW how heavy is the item? You could try MEB. (Manufacturer empty box)

damn is this happened someone before? lmao. despite my parent is a police, i have a huuuge criminal psychology, authorities makes me uncomfortable

But anyway, i have the chance of SE'ing police since i know some of them because my dad is police xD. if local police station is the one who makes the investigations i dont think they will raid me. At least "i hope" but still i will heed your warnings and hide the item.

Maybe not exactly a "raid" lol but without a doubt the police is in their every right to perform an inspection of your home. This hardly ever happens in western countries. I just said that so you're cautious as it could very well happen to you.

It's good that you know some of your dads police colleagues, this can help with your confidence.

My advise is to go ahead with the DNA. I'm hoping this is the first DNA attempt on the account?
If the DNA fails you can DM me and I will help you with the Wrong Item Received method.

Edit: How big is your city? If you need to sign for the item I would seriously recommend the box/ftid method paired with Wrong Item Received. As I would hate for the courier to cause you trouble.

No, you were questioning a PR, so It's the article titled "Filing a police report".

In future, please quote me - It's Impossible to remember every post I've replied to. I see @Roadman has you covered, so I'll move on to another thread.
