Hi I had a failed amazon refund where I got a ftidna done but I think the guy messed up so nothing happened after a month and a half. I hit up a refunder who told me he had an inside and made me cancel my refund. I canceled my refund and then his insider told him that the order is to old to be refunded. I tired another refunder an he said it was to old as well. Fast forward a few days I had to chat with 7 diffrent associates and finally one of the was able to get me the choice to send it back. However they want me to pay a $500 restocking fee? I sent the product back know amazon an know want to verify my identify because of suscpoius account activity. I sent my id ???? and amazon said they will let me in 3 days if they will refund. I already started a chargeback with my bank. Do you think I should go through with the dispute or wait the 3 days. any tips for the charge back would be great. I did a legit return amazon has my product?

I would probably wait and see what happens at this point. Although I would have argued against sending id. It will be fine though. Good luck.

I would wait for Amazon's response before doing anything with the bank as that's generally only used as a last resort. Mothered isn't around anymore btw. Good luck and keep us updated

I am having this same issue now. Seems like they're stepping up. I don't have an ID with the fake info I used for the account unfortunately.. is there a way to get them to budge without one? They have my items... how can they legally say they will refund me upon receiving my items and then refuse to provide me the money?

Thank you! so I contacted amazon and they refunded me the full amount back I guess I just got lucky with the rep. However my bank said dont remove the claim until they refund the full amount

so I contacted amazon and they refunded me the full amount. I havent seen it yet so figures crossed they dont screw me. If you already sent the prodcuts back here what i think you should do. contact them and ask them did they recived the items you returned. when they confirm .make a claim with your bank and send a picture to your bank with proof you sent it back. im not sure if the id thing would affect it though! good luck keep us updated
