Amazon or even bestbuy can claim DNA then its a clean cut case?

Both are much of a muchness.

How long do investigations generally take?

Here are mostly my concerns:

1. I have 17 days to make this happen, living temporarily somewhere so realized might as well lol, but how long could this potentially take (esp investigations_ depending on methods needed to be used?

2.. If DNA fails, of all the other methods, which would be advisable given my time frame?
Wrong Item received method - what item to swap macbook with and will swapping work on bestbuy? Assuming amazon swapping with cat food even would work since they sell those.
Boxing method - whats that?
Faulty Item method for tech-based products - whats that?
Disposed of the faulty Item method (as above) - whats that?
Leaking battery method (for obvious reasons) - would this work?
The missing Item method (weight permitted) - how do you know they "missed" weight

3. My other concern is If BB fails for whatever reason I have to return it, ill get hit with exchange fees conversion (diff currency) so ill lose money on it VS Amazon will refund the whole thing since you can pay in different currencies. That is if i dont have to do a chargeback on either lol

Im hoping for DNA but given signature/OTP most likely will be required, not sure how to avoid it. Where i am they generally just toss and leave items.
