Amazon iPhone method? #1
Just ordered an iPhone in the UK and considering trying to SE a refund tomorrow.

Had a look at a few methods and I'm still a little undecided as to the best approach.

On Amazon it says that either an OTP or a signature will be required and I'm aware if an OTP is required, I'll have to bypass using something like mothered's method, and if a signature is required I'll use a fake one before DNA'ing for a refund. However, is this the optimal method for me to use or is there a specific method for iPhones that is more likely to succeed?

The Sealed Box Method seems to be the absolute #1 highest success rate for iPhones due to the simplistic and well-known packaging, although since you have to do a bit of DIY, the success rate will be bottlenecked by how well you execute it.

And of course, be sure to have a backup plan. If amazon receives the return and somehow realises it's tampered with, you should make a plan and decide whether you want to double-down on the fact that you didn't tamper with the item and it's exactly as you received it.

In terms of the sealed box method, If there's no signs of Inconsistencies/tampering whatsoever with the reseal, It's compatible with any company.

Just wondering, you said Amazon checks its returns carefully, but they would never open a sealed box? Is that 100% safe?

No method Is 100% safe.

My posts don't relate to the sealed box method, but rather those that warrant returns to be checked - such as (for example) the faulty Item method, by returning an old/used like-for-like product.

Ok, makes sense
I wonder why Amazon skips checking sealed boxes, they should've caught on by now, surely they could re-seal the products themselves after checking

Many other companies should also have caught on, but evidently they haven't.

On the other hand, the lack of manpower plays a significant role as to whether every return Is thoroughly checked.
