It's totally useless to verify the package was handed to the correct recipient.

Is your house number located way above the height of where the photo was taken of you holding the package?
Also, can the background specifically be Identified as your home?

Are there any distinct features that can be seen with the door opened as described?
He got a good picture of the package and the number on the door I am pretty sure but there were no distinct features that could have been seen aside from the door number. No other aspect of the house was captured.

The door number Is a distinct feature, and enough to conclude It was delivered to the correct address.
But It doesn't mean you personally received the package - It could be anyone's hands In the photo, perhaps a passerby accepted It.

^ Is the half-open door Included In the photo?
The picture was taken close up and parallel to the door so from what I can tell, you cannot tell that the door is actually open. I plan to do a DNA and if they dispute that fact, I can simply say I did not answer the door and as such, did not receive the package?

Upon receiving proof of delivery, it looks like you can very clearly see the door is open so DNA will not work, any other ideas?

Just an update on this situation, I returned the iPhone for a full refund after saying that my housemate collected the parcel for me and just forgot to tell me.
I didn't want to try wrong item received and did not have the tools for sealed box method, I have since ordered the tools for the sealed box and will attempt again soon.
Update, am going to try the wrong item received on Amazon, found a cheap electric shaver that weights 20g less than the iphone. Bought from 2 different accounts, 1 delivered to an Amazon Locker. Will update tomorrow when they arrive.

You've covered everything well.
We shall await your reply.
Everything arrived and after about 30 minutes I got in touch with Amazon, at first they were asking me to file a police report. 2 CS representatives were adamant about it, I said I would like to speak to someone higher up as it made no sense to me to file a police report.
I finally get through to the manager and he asks if it is correct I received an "empty box" so I had to correct him, it goes to show how useless some of these CS reps are. Anyway he has asked for pictures of the wrong item received, I assume I am correct in sending pictures of the electric razor in the Amazon box the iPhone arrived in?

You got that right.
If anything, they are getting worse.

Did they provide any Instructions of what the photo should contain?
They asked for pictures of shipping label, condition of the box and any barcodes that may be on the wrong item received. I have obliged and sent them everything they requested
