Amazon gpu return/DNA #1
Have a long standing account filled with many years of purchases. High $ purchase rate (close to 5000 or probably more)  over the years. Only 2 DNA carried out. 1st was years ago for $70 item, successful. 2nd was February for an amount of $400. Success but from what I remember I almost fucked it up.

Ordered a $1500 GPU few days ago. The order was bought directly from amazon and fulfilled by them. Arrives soon.

Whats the best option, I was thinking of giving it the old switcheroo and slippin an old GPU in and stating the retail box was open and thats what I found along with other random shit to make up the weight, taking photos along the way and stating I have proof. Is there a better option such as did not arrive or something else?

Edit: I should add. This is UK. Although not EU anymore, EU trading laws still apply I believe unless I can stand corrected.

As per above, your thread's title and the method you're planning to use, are contradictory.

What exactly Is your Intention?

The DNA method is pretty solid.

In my experience, I've had the highest success with saying the items arrived broken. But I didnt return them.

However now Amazon has flagged my account so I cant SE at all on it anymore.

As a matter of Interest, what were the Items and what reason did you use to circumvent their request for the return?

He had to return sth for them but we never know what he actually put in the box.

Maybe a few kgs of sugar .. i’ve done it so many times but there are so many better ways with which your account won’t get flagged and you can rape them for an another 2 or 3 £1,500, worth 2080Ti 😉

It's quite simple to manipulate any company's return policy and request.

Man I know where u’re comin from but u can’t use hazardious excuse on UK Amazon (if you’re within the UK) as they have their own delivery conpany i.e. amazon logistics with their own delivery guys.

In case u were to use “battery leaked” n other hazardious excuse for a refund, they d just send u their delivery guy to pick the hazardious stuff up for the return

That's why "research" Is of the utmost Importance prior to performing your SE. You can then formulate your method based on your findings.

In your case, you'd simply opt for another method that does not require the return of the (original) Item- such as the wrong Item received or obviously the DNA.

Apologies. New to the forum and the language used. I guess what I'm asking is what would be the best method for me to succeed for a high cost item like this with the lowest suspicion?

Also, am I wrong in thinking DNA is did not arrive?

Thanks

Would you mind elaborating on your method? I'd be really interested to know how this can be acheived multiple times.

No problem whatsoever.

If you're opting for this, a better chance of success Is the wrong Item received method.

Order an Item from Amazon that's extremely cheap, and Is around the same size and weight as the GPU. In the event they check the return and scan It, they'll see It's part of their Inventory and assume they've sent that.
