I did this a couple years with the sony z1r iem. the main earbuds are the most valuable part, retails at 1500$
I told them it was missing tehse earbuds, they're probably a few grams a piece, and i got a refund.

This time its shipped by amazon but sold by a third party (large store)
should I attempt the same PEB?
