So recently my GPU died (rip) and i need a new one
I'm quite new to SE but i managed to did couple refunds using EB method on amazon and adidas,
I'm thinking to get cheap GPU from amazon for around 100 quid and get proper one for around 500 (both send and fullfilled by amazon) then claim i received wrong item so i could return the first one,
Has anyone had success with this kind of method with amazon or maybe with other big companies if its not a good idea maybe should i just DNA but i've done one EB 2 months ago on my account with the most history so im thinking they might be cautious

That's how the wrong Item received method works.

Be sure the wrong Item Is purchased on a separate account.

Two months Is ample time from one SE to the next, so you'll be fine.

I was quite skeptical about DNA because i didn't want to driver get in trouble and i was looking for two GPU as i already mentioned in the similar weight and size but couldn't find any luck because there is big shortage in selection even on Amazon, so i thought maybe i will use my old GPU 748g in weight (that one which had fried) and claim i received wrong item inside, for now im still reading threads on the forum and collecting the experience from other users to take the best approach

I understand your position, but you're not In control of how the carrier company handles their employees.

It may not have an Impact on the driver and even If It does, It's the carrier's choice to reprimand him/her.

Amazon won't fall for that, almost every claim Is rejected.

If the packaging Is suitable, have you thought of using the sealed box method?
