Amazon UK Refund Question #1
Good evening,

I have a question regarding a refund I am about to pull off.

My amazon account is over 10 years old and is very active.

I am considering doing the wrong item method.  I have done this before Firstly in 2019 for a £800 item and this year in July for a item that was £550.

Since my last refund I have had 71 + orders on my amazon account no returns.

My question is I am going to buy a camera and a lens two separate items Camera sold and dispatched by amazon Lens is only dispatched by amazon.  The camera is £1250.

I have already got a friend of mine to order some cheap items from Amazon for me that comes to the same weight of the camera.

So I am going to say I opened the box and the lens was their but the camera wasn't I got item X.

Any thoughts? should I wait longer?  I am considering doing it on Black Friday when Amazon is busy.

Thanks any advice would be greatly received.

Is It the wrong Item received, or the missing Item method you're looking to use?

Thanks for the reply the method I want to use is the wrong item. received  The items weight is 1.6kg  the item is also dispatched and sold by Amazon.

I have got a friend with zero links to my amazon account to order me two items which come to 1.6kg.  One of the items my friend got me  is exclusive to amazon.    Both items are dispatched and sold by Amazon.

I have done this method twice on my personal account twice since mid 2019.

Thanks I must admit I am feeling a little nervous.

I have done it twice mid 2019 for a £800 item and in June 2021 for a £550 item.  Don't you think its a like to soon?  The item I am planning is ££1250 .

I have 71 plus orders since my last wrong item method with no refunds or returns.

It's perfectly normal to feel tense with each SE.

5 months since the last SE, Is ample time to hit the next one. Just remember that every company believes an SE Is a legit claim. Treat It as such by manipulating It accordingly, and you'll be fine.

Perfect.

Your account Is In excellent standing. There's no cause for concern.

RE: Amazon UK Refund Question #10
Good Evening,

I thought I would let you know it worked very easy.  I must admit I was really nervous.

I got a full instant refund over £1000.

I need to return the other items which is no problem.

I thought it was very strange they took my word for it no photos or nothing which I thought was very weird.

I got a email confirming instant refund and return labels.

Thanks for your help I am feeling great.    I will just keep this to a yearly treat I think.
