Can you link us to the item? We really need all 3 dimensions to estimate the shape of the packaging it is sent in.

Possibly cutting boards, ankle weights, rice by the pound, ice packs, etc.
Just be creative!

Ok, I would be looking at something like this:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01N1MH75...B0714FPZJ3
The item weight of the mobo is 5.6 pounds, when shipping packaging is added it becomes over 9. Add a little extra packing paper here and there to bring the toolkit weight up from 5.4 to 5.6 pounds. It is quite cheap and you will be able to find it from local tool retailers.
I hope that this is helpful.

You're not overthinking at all, but rather thinking of all possibilities which Is good practice when SEing.
Multiple Items (books In this case) Is fine. As long as they stock It, that's all that counts.
Multiple books it is. I was just thinking of all possibilities and what they might think and it was messing with me a bit. Thanks for your help.
You're most welcome with all assistance given.
As said, the stock Item can be anything. As far as they're concerned (In this case) they've picked, packed and dispatched the books.
