Sorry if this is a repeat of another thread but I haven't been able to find one, on the amazon.ca i'm seeing a lot of items have "Serial number scan" where it says that amazon scans the serial number of the item to prevent it from fraudulent use and being resold if it is loss during transit they add it to theft/loss databases are these items still refundable/ usable heard some varying answers on this need some clarification.

I believe now they actually do something about items, due to before it was just there to scare people. Likely you cannot resell or return them to a store, but you can always sell them to someone else or use it for personal use.

Yeah I have quite a lot of experience with amazon and oh okay but I’m just worried if the items will still be usable not sellable as I’m getting them
