RE: Amazon SE Questions #31
Well I went ahead and processed the return and got the label created. I have a question/concern though. The screen told me to return the item I typed out that they sent me, and then the next screen was shipping label. At the shipping label screen the Return Authorization Slip that I put in the box still says I am returning the GPU. Is this normal and okay or is it going to cause issues?

Exactly this.

Warehouse storemen makes errors all the time, and It simply comes down to that when using the wrong Item received method. I've worked In warehousing and believe me, there's errors every single day.

Did you remember to select at the “why are you returning this item” stage, the “wrong item received “ option?

On the authorisation slip which you have to put inside the package, does it not say the “items sent by mistake, quantity 1”?

No, it says EVGA GeForce RTX 2080 XC ULTRA GAMING, 8GB GDDR6, Dual HDB Fans & RGB LED Graphics Card 08G-P4-2183-KR

I have no idea why, on the page before it literally told me to package out the wrong item I typed in that they sent me. I had a confirmation screen of the wrong item and all. Am I fucked?

Very strange. I’m not actually sure cos if you send it like that, the workers might think you were just returning the item. They will then see a wrong item and will return it straight back to you. If you go into live chat or call them, it might trigger an investigation. How much was the item?

It was $875. I put the slip on the bottom upside down because they said its only if label on front gets ruined. Hoping they scan it in and see the wrong item sent or something. We will see.
