Never falsify a police report.

You can be charged and convicted of a felony offense.

But it was a virtual personna who faked it. How would they relate it to you? In the thread you said it's impossible for them to relate to you. If it's not you who is gonna be convicted, does it matter to you? SEing is a crime anyway, and if you are not gonna be caught it should be okay

It's not the account that's of concern, but rather falsifying the police report Itself- Irrespective of Its objective.

Certain credentials must be provided when filing a report and as such, a footprint Is always left behind (even when completely faked) that's enough to verify Its authenticity or In this case, lack of.

after sending them a corrupted file for the unmpteenth time , I got a response from their saying that exceptionally they are willing to accept a screenshot from my device "showing in its totality the police report".

Do you think i should stick to sending them a corrupted file, or for example I could do something like this pic i took?

It's not even remotely readable, I do not think they will accept it.

yes, this was my idea. Sending a non readable screenshot, since i don't have it and want to send them
a legit and readable police report

I also think that it may be sospecious, and I am more inclined to continue send them corrupted files, but they are very firm saying that they require a file that they could open from their end, so was wondering if I could try something else

They will have to confirm in some ways that it's a legit police report and most important it's referred to your case. If it's not readable I don't know how this can work.

If you sent that to me and I had to review it, I would then ask you for a closer peak at the document. If you were able to send me a screenshot of that, then you can send me a close up view of it as well. If you refused, I would assume they would follow suit until you complied.

They haven't declined the fact that they cannot open the corrupted file, otherwise they wouldn't be requesting another file of the said contents.

Comply with their request and stick with the corrupted file. This gives the Impression that you're doing what they ask of you.
