Amazon SE - Nintendo Switch - Deactivate/Ban/Blacklist #1
First timer here - to both posting and SE.
I managed to dna a switch from Amazon. I had to go through the PR and everything but finally got it sorted out.
Now I have a refund as well as a switch.

My question is: can I use the switch and all of its features (online)? My concern, of course, is setting off any alerts or tracking/tracing on Amazon or Nintendo's end.

I had considered maybe trying to do a different retailer but haven't decided for or against that. I mainly just wanted to get access to a switch for myself.

Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!

Neither Nintendo or Amazon won’t blacklist or ban anything on your Switch. I bet that you can even send in your Switch for repairs to Nintendo and use your Amazon POP and they won’t even notice.

I doubt Amazon even tracks the S/N of the hardware they send out, unless it's IMEIs (and even there, I'm not too sure they actually care)

You'll be fine.

Thank you all for the replies.

I’d say I was not worried about it but I certainly have been. So much so that I haven’t even taken it out of the box yet.

I will find out tonight if anyone comes kicking in my door I guess.

For peace of mind, you've done the right thing by requesting advice/reassurance.
