Amazon SE - 2 year account history #1
Hi all,

Firstly, thanks for the community and really appreciate all the tips and guides posted on here.

Just wanted to ask in regards to SE-ing Amazon on a GPU.

I have a 2-year + Amazon account with minimal returns and many large purchases.

I wanted to SE a GPU but was wondering which ones I am able to generally have success with. I remember reading that it has to be fulfilled by Amazon in order to utilise the return methods.

For example, would it be easier to choose one of the used GPU's in the Warehouse Deals section or just go with 1 of the newer ones like the EVGA but "fulfiled by Amazon"?

I intend to use my old GPU to return and file it as "Wrong item sent" - but this would only make more sense if I was to go with the Warehouse Deals type as it's second hand.

Would appreciate some guidance on this, first time.

Cheers!

Well as you mentioned buddy it's always easier to go with the Warehouse deals because it's second hand items

Also, it's easier when the 2 gpu are from the same brand.

Just say that you got a wrong GPU in the original package and that's all

You've answered your own question.

Given the value of the Item and nature of your method, the Warehouse Deals Is the better option.

Cheers fellas.

Only thing to note is that I've got a fairly old GPU currently which I intend to use, to return in place of the GPU I'm trying to gain.

It's a 770 and I don't even have the original box.

Would this rule out the wrong item method? Just wasn't sure if anyone has gone through in this circumstances and have it work.

As you've stated above, you're planning to use the "wrong Item sent" method, meaning they'll dispatch the Item but you've (seemingly) received the Incorrect goods.

Wouldn't you be sending your old GPU In the box they've already sent?

Yeah that's what I intend to do, however several threads on this forum have said that it might be "better" to send back the 770 in the original 770 packaging and say that it's the wrong item being sent.

Instead of sending the 770 back using the newer GPU's packaging - as according to some previous posts on here, "GPUs do not have the same assembly lines and the packaging would not be mixed up".

I was wondering if this applied to warehouse deals as well.

Thanks for responding btw, it's really helpful and may serve to answer the same question for anyone else asking in the future.

Well it depends because people can totally un sealed the package and remove the right GPU you know
