[mothered]

so does that mean I can order the "second item" from a different account to the same address and return it without being linked????   Should I use a different address when I order the "second/ return" item?
THanks for your help. I've been reading and learning alot from you lately.

You're welcome with all assistance provided.

Given It's a different account altogether, they may not check the address but to be on the safe side, use a different one- friends, work etc. Leave nothing to chance.

Does the second item have to be shipped and sold by amazon? Can I get sold by "SELLER" and fulfilled by amazon
I'm trying to find an item thats same weight and dimensions as a nintendo switch. its so harddd

FBA provides customer service on behalf of the seller, so either will do.

That said, I'd personally opt for "sold by Amazon", purely for the fact that you're dealing with Amazon alone. There's no third-party Intervention that can possibly cause Issues along the way.
