Brought an item a few weeks ago from amazon UK, thought i'd try my luck with a DNA to be told that i'd need a police report, thought it was too much hassle so left it, in the end I didn't need the item so went to return it for a refund, its been about 1 1/2 weeks and still no refund or no confirmation of item received from amazon, I hit up amazon live chat to be asked if i'd submitted that police report yet, i told him no as my neighbour must have taken in the package for me as it was in my lobby. He told me to wait for the full 2 weeks, so i'm just wondering if there's anything i can do to speed up getting my money back

Ask to speak with someone on a senior level, and say that you need the funds reimbursed asap due to financial hardship.
