Amazon Refund Question #1
Hi everyone, I'm relatively new to refunding in general but I've been reading a lot about it on multiple forums to get a grasp of it. There is a thing I still can't understand.

I know that in order not to be tracked by amazon you can just keep creating new accounts using a new IP, new email, new payment method, and address. I read that as long as you do a typo while writing your name/address they can't link you to other accounts you previously used. Here comes my doubt: since you can't change your billing address, otherwise the transaction won't go through, even if you used a new address for the delivery or a drop location, can't they just check the billing information to know who you are?

Thanks in advance to everyone who's gonna be kind enough to help me

Credit cards are registered to postal/zip codes. You can modify your address slightly with each account.

In my experience, though, Amazon often uses your IP address to link accounts, nothing else. Like I've recreated accounts with the same email as closed ones, nearly same information to test this, the account has never been linked or contacted, still active.

Generally with our forum, I figured this went without saying. However, recent discussion has led me to believe otherwise. People are encouraged to read and follow our rules, especially those regarding illegal content. You have been warned - @Oni

Good to know!
How is Amazon refunding with totally fresh accounts?
Unfortunately, I have to retire from SE.

It should be fine if under $500, but I would do a few legit orders first.

You can mistype your address by a little
Ex: instead of 230-04, you can do 230-4, or instead of Ave., do Avenue.
Slight difference but it makes all the difference

They can If you give them reason to do so.

This would Involve a manual process, of which they predominantly don't have the manpower to sift through every detail.

I agree with mothered, none of my accounts have ever been linked together by following the method you said. Slightly changing things makes all the difference sometimes

Thanks for all the answers. Unfortunately, I'm not an expert when it comes to VCCs but aren't there some VCCs that let you put a fake name and billing address when you generate them? Revolut offers a great deal by allowing you to create as many VCCs as you want but they're all linked to my real name and address (it's a pity privacy.com doesn't work in Europe)
