Amazon Logistics #1
Hello, I’m new to the community here and I’m not quite sure how everything works yet, but I’m excited to get involved!
I’m posting because I was unsuccessful in a phone call in order to refund a package shipped with Amazon Logistics. They took a picture of my front porch and denied me a refund even when I said it was the wrong house. I have refunded on several (now closed) accounts and it has never been this difficult. I made the biggest damn sob story you’ve ever seen and all I got was feigned sympathy from the outsourced CS rep along with 5-6 holds over a 40 minute phone call. She did, however, offer to forward me to an ACCOUNT SPECIALIST so I could try and get it worked out to get a refund and I declined because I was scared of an investigation. I recently made another order I was looking to refund but somehow it’s still Amazon Logistics. I hate it. Sad
Very sorry for the wall of text, just don’t know what to do with this shipper. And I know you can disable photo on delivery but you also need to contact an account specialist and I’m worried they leave notes and open investigations on accounts. This one I’ve been using has been clean and free of refunds. I’d really appreciate any and all help with this, and if refunding services are still a think please contact me.

Welcome to the community!

How much did the order cost?

When you say closed accounts, were they your accounts? ie same address as the one you’re currently at? Or how have you managed to open new accounts?

Maybe you should do a wrong item received instead of DNA since they are giving you hassle. By all means avoid an account specialist, they uncover things you thought were long gone and buried.

Delivering an Item and receiving It, Is completely different. They took a picture? So what? Unless you're In that picture personally accepting the package, by no means does It solidify nor conclude that you've received It.

I think they use Amazon Logistics on 1-Day Shipping, most of the time. At least, in Amazon.it. When you choose Standard Shipping it'll be the usual carrier.

The order was in the 600s, and this account has been fine and legit for over two years.

Bump
Every time I call and do DNA, they ask me if I want to be forwarded to an ACCOUNT specialist. I don’t know what to do at this point. I’d really appreciate any help and I can even pay for a refunding service.

I've never heard of an employment title named "account specialist". Probably just a fanciful name they've made up to forward your claim to another department.

It's part of their process to proceed with your claim, so why not comply with their request?

Account specialists are the ones who do the account investigations and uncover accounts that have been abusing their policies. They email from the cis@Amazon.uk handle

Yes I know, It's the actual title that I'm referring to.

I've never heard of a job description named "account specialist". The terms are broad, and can pertain to any capacity In the accounts department.
