After purchasing a glorious mouse model d wireless (0.1kg package, ~100 usd), I left the cardboard seal on the Amazon package intact and instead opened it from one of the seams. I opened the seals on the mouse package using tweezers and heat, replaced the mouse inside with an item of equivalent weight and closed the seals back, then put it back in the Amazon package and glued the opened seam back as well.

Instand refund as soon as item was returned, no further complications. If anybody else tries this, makes sure you get one of their mouses that are sold and delivered by Amazon.

This clearly demonstrates the effectiveness of the sealed box method.

I've written something to this effect on my blog a while back. The seal Is one of the first things they check, so leaving It Intact was a very smart move.
