RE: Amazon DNA police report #11
I was unable to get around the report. they always send the same email, it's like it's a block. on another account I refunded a galaxy s20 without problems. the report does not depend on the value but require a report if they find something suspicious. I discovered this, I hope it is useful

Does it say on the email that you cannot give action fraud reports?

I've always been firm that It's difficult to avoid/circumvent a police report.

It's company policy, hence you cannot work around It.

All the more reason to file one. A police report, Is simply used to confirm that what you've stated Is true and correct to the best of your knowledge.

If they found anything suspicious, a police report wouldn't determine that, but rather their findings during the Investigation.

Can someone confirm if I SE an Apple MacBook Air via DNA on Amazon Prime fulfilled by Amazon, that the MacBook will *not* be blacklisted?

I know from a previous post that a successful ipad In 2017 was SE from Amazon without any black list. But with a MacBook Air in 2020? Is anything different?

I know with iPhones blacklist is more prevalent but with Apple laptops, is it the same thing?

An ipad will get blacklisted and stop working if its reported stolen.
So basically, what you can do is, sell the Ipad TODAY, get cash for it, then file the police report as stolen off your front porch.

Just be sure when your selling the Ipad, that your anonymous, post on Craigslist using a VPN, use a Burner Virtual phone number. Because that Craigslist Post selling the Ipad will be forensically analyzed by its IP address, phone number..

So I'd try to sell it, then delete the craigslist post.

Once you have cash from the Ipad, report the item as stolen off your front porch.
File the police report, 'I wasnt home and somebody took the box etc'

But remember, whoever buys the Ipad will probably contact you, or the police, once the IPad you sold them gets locked. So honestly I think you have to be 100% anonymous, IP address, Phone number has to be 100% untraceable, or it will come back to you and you may get arrested.

So, in your case, I'd just stop.

So other companies Laptops/tablets can't be blocked/located? I was almost certain that they could be..
