2.8k DNA live chat is requesting a PR. Should I try to call in a sob story or just do PR? Should I put the full 2.8 amount on the PR or say its worth less to discourage investig? Also would P ever come to my house or simply follow up over email or phone? I'd like to avoid interaction as much as possible.

You can call as much as you want, but you would go nowhere without a PR. Why should the police come to your house? They have better things to do then come to your house. You have to put the real info on the PR.

Okay so I finally was able to get the PR. Honestly, that process was more than I was hoping it would be. No option for online PR and had to go back and forth over text with a cop so they could make the report for me. They were originally supposed to come to my house too (not my idea). Thankfully, they never showed up and just called/texted instead.

So now I have scanned and sent the PR to the email I got from amazon detailing the PR requirements. They emailed me back saying they tried to contact the police station to confirm the report but the station didn't answer. I also called amazon and did the chat twice and all three times they say the station didnt answer and they want me to check back again at a later time. Obviously the police station answers the phone 24/7 so its total bullshit on amazons part. How am I supposed to get them to confirm my PR? Do I really need to give them step by step instructions how to get to an operator on the police station number? Maybe I just give them the cops direct number? So annoying

Yes they are, ask them to try harder or to escalate this issue since you find it's weird that the station wouldn't pick up and you wish for a supervisor to verify this . They usually ask for the direct number to the cop who was assigned to your case and for obvious reasons they want that number to be visible on the PR instead you sending it to them separately.

It's not your responsibility to pursue their Incapacity to contact the police.

Tell them to do the job they're paid to do. It's not hard to make a phone call, Is It?
