A friend of mine has recently started doing refunds. His method is to create new accounts, make a bunch of small orders with Amazon GCs, and then make a somewhere 3-5k "refund" purchase with his Revolut VCC, but after a while, Amazon just puts the whole account and order on hold and asks for utility bill with names and etc... Has happened a bunch of times and now it happened again the day the items were supposed to arrive.

There's a mismatch/Inconsistency with the Information on the account, hence Amazon needs to verify It against the details contained In the utility bills and other documents as requested.

There'd be a variance somewhere.

Tell him to contact Amazon and ask exactly why the account has been put on hold.

Be sure there are no discrepancies whatsoever when creating each account.

There's too many of us refunding the poor thing, it's too much work for them

Of course, It takes them an entire day to hit a few keys on the PC and bring up the details.
