Allbeauty said they were going to ask Royal Mail to investigate, but I don't think they got a response within like 7-10 days from them. I did have to chase a few times, and eventually they refunded. I wasn't told what the outcome of the investigation was.

When a claim Is at the stage of an Investigation, there's nothing to suggest (at that point) that It will be declined- there's simply not enough evidence to finalize It either way, hence the need to open the Investigation. In fact, and as with the above case, the majority have a successful outcome.
