I loved the movie series, but I don't know how to feel about the game series. It's predecessors have gotten lukewarm reviews, haven't they?

@MiS Yeah the Alien franchise as a whole has gotten a "lukewarm" review. But the new Alien game has updated graphics and looks vaguely Outlast-ish. I'll review the game when it comes out.

One of the key things that made Outlast so horrifying was the inability to fight back, so if they somehow manage to keep that creepy, isolated atmosphere while making a decent FPS game, I'll be extremely impressed.

Agreed, that's what i loved about Outlast.
