I've got a pair of fake ones lying around and was thinking about replacing them with the official ones from Argos here in the UK. But they have a policy of not refunding used Headphones due to hygiene apparently.
I don't honestly know how close to the originals the fakes are, so don't particularly want to say they are faulty for a member of staff to inspect them and see they are quite blatantly fake.
Any suggestions?
Don't really know how to reseal the box unfortunately, so that's out the window

You can't do this, they will check the serial number. If it doesn't match then yeah, you're kinda fucked.
I'm kidding, don't take me serious.

yeah I decided against it already, not worth the hassle.
I've already managed to do it with a pair of Sony headphones in the past, but that was legit ones that were just broken.

I seen some guy in the argos review section saying his airpods came fake and used and they never let him return it. This method definitely used to work but not so much anymore.
