Received my royal mail parcel directly from Apple I was hoping to get some advice on SE'ing the pods, was thinking of EB
The parcel does include the weight 289g and my apartment received them on Monday but because I was away I've only just collected it now.
Any help would be appreciated

Both AirPods combined are 9 grams, and the Magsafe Charging Case Is 38 grams. A total of 47 grams Is Ideal for the EB/missing Item method.

Email said it was signed, I called Apple directly and used EB,
Said the refund would go through after confirming it, they used the special exception

Yes, It's called a "one-time exception" that (as Its name Implies), can only be Issued one time per account.
