Morning all.

I’ve got 4 empty boxed bottles of YSL After shave coming in a few days. I’m planning to do the broken bottle method.

Do you think it’s too risky saying all three of my bottles have smashed and are leaking or am I over thinking this one. I don’t see why it shouldn’t work.

Once this is successful I will order the same bottles off every other perfume store.

Any help is appreciated.

Given one bottle Is susceptible to breakage, so too are the rest that're shipped In the same package.

Personally, I'd opt to SE just the two. It seems a little more realistic.

Quick update:

I declared the bottles have smashed. Ive sent photos of the parcel and all the smashed bottles. I rang them as they didn’t reply and now they’re asking for more photos of the leak.

How shall I go about this as I first sent the original photos on Saturday. Perfume evaporates so what shall I do in this case? Spray the box with water ??!

We’ll i broke some where it’s cracked the bottle in half and the other one had shattered, I showed liquid in the bottom of the box and the box was damp inside

As long as the liquid you've applied Is consistent with the perfume Itself, you've prepared It well.

UPDATE:

After endless emails/calls back and forth I have been offered the same three perfumes or a gift card worth £220. Took longer than expected but nevertheless another successful SE.
