The problem Is when the package Is weighed during the very early stages In transit, It will be 2kg lighter, hence It'll conclude the jacket wasn't returned.

Do companies generally contact the shipping companies and inquire about weight difference between stages of transit?

Do you just put the dry ice directly in the package without any container?

Companies will Inquire about every point where the weight was recorded by the carrier.

Are there any other thing to use instead of dry ice? You mentioned packaging tape, but 2kg of packaging tape would require 15 rolls lol. I guess shrink wrap maybe but that seems unlikely to be approved.
