I'm not sure how many of you will have been on DeviantART - a website for artists (usually those interested in drawing anime/manga or digital painting). However, there is a huge market on there for Adoptables. These are character designs that can be "adopted" by somebody else. Usually you buy them through virtual points on the site or real money.

I'll give you an example of some of the popular ones that make a lot of money:

The one on the left went for $150 and the right one went for $80. They just made a whopping $230 off two drawings.

These went for $20 each and all were sold with a total of $160 and these are some of their cheapest ones.

All were sold. 1 = $300, 2 = $280, 3 = $150 and 4 = $150. Total of $880 for just this set.

Obviously these are the higher end ones.

I would like to start doing it too. I've begun to make the bases for my first batch:



How much should I make the start price on mine? Obviously MUCH lower that those above me... but where to start?
