Two main ways to get a refund for an order:
- DNA - "Did Not Arrive"
- EB - "Empty Box"
- RTS - "Return To Sender"
- DMG - "Damaged"
- UNDL - "Undeliverable"
- LIT - "Lost In Transit"
- UTD - "Unable To Deliver"
- PEB - "Partial Empty Box"
- FTID - "Fake Tracking ID"
- FTIDNA - "Delivery To Fake Location"
- ROS - "Refund On Scan"
- ROD - "Refund On Delivery"
- PR - "Police Report"
- UA - "Unauthorized Access"
1. Convince the store that you did not receive your order.
The simplest approach is to use DNA (Did Not Arrive). You can enhance the credibility of your claim by adding RTS (Return To Sender), UTD (Unable To Deliver), or FTIDNA, which involves changing the tracking information to support your claim.
- RTS allows you to modify the tracking to make it appear as if the item was returned to the sender.
- UTD updates the tracking to indicate that the item is undeliverable.
- FTIDNA involves changing the delivery location in the tracking information to a different city or country.
2. Play with a prepaid return label.
In this case, you can use FTID, LIT, etc., with the label.
- There are several types of FTID, but nowadays, 99% of them are FTIDv3. This involves a modified label being shipped to a location near the original destination. As a result, the tracking system will indicate that the package was delivered, even though the store hasn't received it. The store might assume that either the courier or their warehouse made a mistake, leading to a refund for you.
- LIT means that the tracking indicates the package was shipped by you but never arrived at the store. The store assumes the courier lost the package and issues you a refund, as it was their label, and thus their responsibility.
These methods are the most common, though there are others. The choice depends on the specific store, and you can either experiment on your own.
Tracking Number Modification Services
"Boxing" services allow for the modification of tracking numbers. For example, if you have a return label, you can order LIT from a boxing service, and they will make the return tracking look like it was lost in transit (drop-off scan/pick-up scan, then nothing further).
There are two types of these modifications:
- Manual Boxing: Sending a fake package with the tracking number and a modified label.
- Scans: Employees at shipping companies or individuals with access to a panel apply a scan to the tracking. Scans are more expensive but more reliable.
