ATM? 11-26-2012, 09:41 PM

Hey guys. So, today I went out with my friend, he had to get money off his credit card, so we went to nearest ATM. He put the card in, but it froze on saying "Please wait" and the card stayed in, lol.
So, he called the people who are responsible for that. They restarted the system, so he got the credit card out, and we had to wait 5 minutes for the restart to finish. That's not the point anyway.
When it was restarting, it was loading windows xp. I giggled.
So, I was wondering, just wondering. If it has windows on it, and it's being restarted somehow remotely, I guess it's connected to the internet.
Could it be hacked? And do you have any idea, how to find these systems?
I've heard of people hacking TV stuff n shit like that...so why not ATM?
