With 10 years refunding experience I know a lot of you will have questions you don't know who/where to ask.
Happy to field anything you may want to know, no matter how ridiculous - From advice to generic questions on how the scene has changed since I got started.

Hi,
There's only a small number of methods in actuality - But I would say my favourite was when I had a DNA operation set up that allowed me to hit Amazon for approx 75k. Obviously that's RRP value and after paying fees to my runners, drops, IT costs, selling costs etc it was about 25k profit to me. Paid to take family to the Caribbean and then go to Asia after that
Needless to say this was patched within 2 months but it was a good 2 months!

Can you tell us about some of your more 'tricker' cases and what did you do/how did you handle it?

I am actually looking to start a refund service now but in the past - The only time I have refunded for others (apart from irl mates) I ran a Google refund service on SE.net. Back when everyone was undercutting fees I was charging 5% and cleared the 100k mark in terms of refunded items. Made about 4-5k from it because I would do some as favours for others things etc

I actually had a legit return/refund go wrong once which was harder than any refund I have done. John Lewis lost my returned macbook and it went on for 6 months. My bank woulnd't help because it was on debit and not credit card.
I contacted police but it's a civil matter.
I contacted multiple legal and social outlets but none could help.
John Lewis told me to take it up with Royal Mail but Royal Mail wouldn't help me because John Lewis had lost it in their warehouse.
After 6 months I managed to find the phone number for their FD and phoned his assistant and the MDs assistant every day for a week and sent them direct emails twice a day until I got my money back.
Worst actual refund experience was with Google (ironically as I ran a service at the time). They just stopped replying to my emails and when I gave order number on chat/phone would just end it. I had to go via credit card chargeback which I won after 2 weeks because they did the same to the bank (nice 10k refund)
