Do you think AI in academia is a good or a bad thing? Do you think we should encourage the responsible use of AI, or should it just be outright banned from academia?

A lot of people are using AI for written assignments. Plagiarism was always an issue, but I imagine educators will stop giving as many written assignments. Presentations and exams might become more common.
