I have a suggestion.

It would be nice to have some sort of plugin that will flag content as most likely being written by AI. Maybe like a small AI badge in the top right of users posts when it believes it is AI written grammar / grammar patterns.

I think it would be useful here, especially since apart of the reason why people like forums is the genuine conversations you can have with the community. I personally feel disconnected when I know im reading something that was written by AI.

I like this idea, but I am not sure it's warranted quite yet. There's additional security concerns if we were to rely on an API or something more sophisticated.

Definitely keeping an eye and spot-checking in the mean time.

The golden era of MyBB, the software driving the forum, is long gone; nowadays, we're lucky if they even manage to periodically patch medium-to-high risk bugs.

Unfortunately, short of a custom (paid) plugin, I don't think it's possible.

I'd certainly consider it more if we were being flooded with AI bot posts, but for now I'd agree. Every new feature I add is something that will require maintenance later.
