Thanks zig, I've heard this too but I don't know if the order amount is the sole basis for which they issue a refund. Guess its important to state that the shipping carrier is Fedex as well.

Encountered heavy resistance. Did chat support, and the bloke basically offered to 'price match the existing order' which I thought was a reshipment but no, he wanted me to buy the same order again. I gave genuine responses being frustrated at being offered such a laughable offer. I was acting a little panicked but also polite. I pushed further, gave more reasoning, and He said to contact local authorities but unfortunately due to a picture from Fed-ex(expected...fricking fedex), their system won't allow a reshipment or refnd. He then recommended a charge reversal which I pushed back again on saying that I can't wait 90 days for the b_ank to resolve and that I had never gone through with that process with anything other than overcharged subscriptions. At this point, I was talking about how I've been shopping at A-Fitch for over a decade since I was a little boy, and for him to present me with 3 terrible options: a b_ank reversal, paying for the same order again, and calling the police was a disgrace(didn't use this exact phrasing). I asked to escalate the situation, and after a bit, he said sure.

He-said-to-watch-out-for an e-mail in three days, after which I'm guessing there is an investigation. Am I screwed? What should I do, Let me know. As my second Se, didn't expect to encounter so much resistance. Im willing to stay the course. Also anyone know how to add/notify another user, trying to get mothered to comment.

Investigations are common, even standard procedure for many companies. I would suggest you call instead of using live chat whenever possible, not that you did anything wrong. You will have more presence over the phone, emotions are more easily felt. You might have thought you created a sob story but the live agent is just reading words on the screen and has another case after you to worry about.

The forum is going downhill.

I have many SEs I would like to share with other contributors. Unfortunately, that is a very small percentage of the overall community, and getting smaller by the day. I have no incentive to contribute publicly and reward the undeserving. If you feel the same and would like to discuss privately, please reach out.

Got the escalation email...
Said they have determined it wasn't delivered to the right address.
"in an effort to make this right we've requested a reshipment be sent you, we would appreciate your patience as AF continues to look into this matter further"

LETS GOOOOO. 2ND DNA is presumably a success. Jury is still out I think because I know people have gotten messages like this only for it to be reversed, or go through another few steps of hassle.

Gymgiraffe is next and then I think I'm done for like a year, ride off into the sunset.
