A rather controversial introduction 10-04-2019, 07:43 PM

I certainly don't mean to offend anyone but I would like to make a few points in this introduction to shed some light on my primarily decision joining this forum and provide my perspective on the contemporary state of 'hacking communities' that have undergone a drastic change over the years outweighing any positive effects such forums initially represented. Stemming from a non-English-speaking country some statements I'm going to formulate may appear to be incomprehensible but let me get straight to the point, as I've been a member of several communities in the past I've noticed a steady 'intellectual degradation' which led to an overrepresentation of incapable members usually claiming their intention to become members of the aforesaid communities can be explained by their willingness to learn 'coding'. I would not like to give the impression that I'm capable or smart, quite contrary to what some people may be thinking I'm of average intelligence so I would appreciate seeing these points to be addressed in near future that would be people familiarizing themselves with functional programming (it doesn't have to be monad transformers or lenses in Haskell), a growing scepticism towards the privacy-invasive cancer that is smartphones and the readiness to incorporate theoretical foundations when creating tutorials.
