I have recently noticed that most of the Hacker forums are run on some form of MYbb.

Is there a particular reason that all of them use the same thing ?? or is because it saves a lot of making a entire website/forum from scratch?
isn't it the most "unhacker" approach to this problem, if someone wants to make a website/ forum related to hacking , making it from scratch would be more apt to the team. its understandable that the resultant website wouldn't be much it sure does get into the "sprit of the Hacker culture"
