I will simply say the drive was missing from the box, but the box was in perfect condition, so it's factory error. I will be happy sending back the box if that's what they ask for, as the total package I believe is only 60-80g, so likely would not have registered the drive alone. Regardless I will sell it packaged or not (depending on what I am asked to do in terms of returning) for dirt cheap so I don't really care (like $50). A quick buck is my personal favorite way to go, as it's low risk. I was originally going to Photoshop the ssd to look like it burst into flames, but I realized that would cause too much attention both from the seller and likely the manufacturer to find out the batch number. What do you think about this idea anyway? I could still do it.
Anyway, tell us how it goes! Hope you get the refund/replacement!
Already sold it for 100€
so if I won't get my money back its okay

Just took the product out of the package and tape up the package with e.g. blue Tape and send it back? Or what would be the best?
lol blue tape?
No man, open it carefully, heat the original tape a little and peel it off. take the m.2 out. Reseal it and return it. Simple

Oh that's great! I usually wait just in case I need to actually return the item for any obscure reason (never happened, but I wait until the refund is possessed, I guess its a superstition of mine).
The model I have coming is 500gb version, and if that return all goes smoothly and the SE method works as intended for the product, I will hit another site for the 1TB one to make some more $.
Did you use an alt account, or buy this from your actual account? Something I do is use family/friends accounts (with permission through a bit of person to person SE'ing), so the occasional refund to the account means nothing in comparison with all the successful and real transactions. This seems to work well for me, and never causes any issues in terms of accounts on their end. Sometimes I even offer to pay an acquaintance to receive and pay for my package, making some excuse as to why along the way.
Still keep us up to date on the DHL situation!
