Usually Amazon reps will see you have already been asked to provide a police report. I remember in another thread a user said they were told by the police "it's Amazon's business not ours" . You could try that?

You can try this , say you contacted the police and told you it was none of their business. Or if you're feeling brave actually file the report , usually nothing will come from it but see what more experienced members say to try .

Hmm , I remember last time the guy had to be pretty incistent about it , maybe if you Photoshop some kind of email / letter saying it's from the police?

Just file the report with the police. They can't prove you didn't receive the parcel. It's more of a formality these days. In the UK, it takes less than 10 minutes to get a crime number.
