has anyone put an image on that bad boy, and then lost a considerable amount of space? say as in having 86 mb available...showing? hahaha wow i think i really messed my card up and i just bought it -_- :headbash: any help would be greatly appreciated

Can you elaborate? You sure nothing is in it? Have you tried formatting it? Have you checked for file-streams?

My image, do you mean distro?

I assume you loaded on Kali Linux for your R.Pi, correct? Just load it up and you should be able to see how much space you have left. Its like when you make a partition on one of your drives. Eg. You created one for Ubuntu (128gb) but the space disappears entirely. But when your running Ubuntu, all that space is available.

If I am way off, please elaborate further. Your post is pretty vague.

haha!! yeaaaa!! Ok guys this is how it went...I loaded the kali linux onto the sd using the windiskmanager. wrote successfully. i ejected it and loaded it to my pi aaaand nothing happened. i messed up somewhere. so i loaded back in my comp and then i had 2gb left and i was like woe is me! soo then i was like hmmm...so i loaded archlinux on it. haha bad idea huh? then when i put that one in, it looked like it was trying to boot but the original kali was stopping it. then i put it back in my comp. then i had 80mb left and i nearly shat my pants because no matter how many times i tried reformatting it...it wasnt going back to 32. i looked at the partition and its reading the full amount, i just dont know how to delete it. i really am thinking of just returning it and getting another one haha!

Go to Computer management -> Disk management and check if your sd card has been divided into different partitions, a major portion could be unallocated space.
You can also use Diskpart for this.

yes thats the one i was talking about. i even tried to expand it but i couldnt haha its 29 unallocated but as far as getting that back im not to sure how
