I have a samsung laptop I bought in Best Buy 3 months ago I have the receipt, all legit. I stumbled upon this SE forum and was thinking there must be a way to SE Samsung and get another laptop for free. thinking about the leaking battery method, take off bottom panel, spray with removable black paint to resemble being burnt, and some milky liquid..take photos and call support, any suggestions are welcome

There's no point performing the above - Samsung will request the Item be returned.

Try to come up with an issue that makes the laptop useable but extremely inconvenient(ie keyboard doesn't work, huge patch of dead pixels ,etc), come up with a reason you can't return the laptop first, come up with a reason for why no technician can come to your home, and come up with a reason to make the replacement more urgent(for example you have an important exam in a couple days and you need to study on your laptop). A lot of laptop companies do advanced replacements in this case and some of them ask for collateral CC where they'll initially charge $1 to see if it works and charge the price of the laptop if you don't return it. If they ask for collateral, just give them a vcc with a $5-10 limit to be safe. After all, losing $5-10 is worth it when you potentially could gain a new laptop. I don't know about samsung but several other major laptop companies offer ARs so it's worth a shot

Dell requires the invoice and for the warranty to be under your name. I haven't had any success obtaining a legitimate invoice

I've used the corrupted file method a while back which succeeded, but had to push the rep to his absolute limit.
