2021 Resolutions #1
2021 is arriving for some us, whereas it has already arrived for others. Does anyone within the Sinisterly community have resolutions for 2021?

Mine are to quit smoking, which I am looking to commence this coming Saturday, which will be the 2nd. The other resolution being to exercise more often, preferably on a day to day basis. I used to exercise actively, however, I became indolent during the COVID-19 pandemic. Eating and drinking-wise has not been the best during the COVID-19 pandemic either, to be honest, so that is another thing I will be looking into bettering.

Mostly making efforts towards being more positive and healthy. I avoid doing "resolutions", as there's no better time than the present.

I quit smoking 2-3 years ago, it's an excellent decision. I remember after the first couple months breathing was much better. I went cold turkey and it was worth it. Try not to stay on the gum/patches too long, if you can avoid it.

Very sound advice.

I've never made proper new years resolutions, but I certainly hope to achieve my health goals and hope the pandemic clears up so I can travel again.

My resolutions are very simple...
The first and most important is making happy my girlfriend, I love her and I want she to stay happy around me, even if I can't be with her due to COVID-19.

I haven't seen her in 5 months, and we started the relationship the 21st of August, so since that I've called her everyday and try to help her, because this is so hard for her.

And my 2nd and last resolution is just finishing my studies with good marks and getting a proper job.

Extra one: stop drinking alcohol Smile

I did the same around 14 years ago and haven't had a single puff to date.

I also went cold turkey, but fell very sick thereafter. My doctor actually said I should've used patches, and that It was a mistake to stop abruptly. On-topic, my resolution Is to put 2020 behind and make a fresh, healthy and prosperous start to the New Year.
