yes I remember back in the day AutoCAD took forever to install on the college computers.

I also remember AutoCAD 2004, which didn't take up too much time to Install.

Over the years, It's become a lot more graphical-demanding, hence the greater the capacity and Installation time.

yes I totally agree with what you said about graphical programs do indeed require more time for installing it.
