Hi all, I am an absolute newbie to the FTID methods and am planning to use FTID V3 for the first time. I'm going to use a gpu S/N to file a warranty claim with MSI and get them to send me a label so I can send them the GPU.

My question is as follows: say they give me a DHL label, and I edit it (remove all information except bar code, change address to other nearby business), won't they just use the barcode to get the actual address and deliver it there? Is that not how it works?

Yep that was how it worked in 2018.
Now it's a whole different game, you HAVE to edit the barcode information too, instead of editing it yourself and messing it up, I highly suggest using a known FTID service, it'll only cost you 15-25$.
